Biography
 
I have had the honor of teaching at King/Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science since 2007. Previous to joining the KD staff, I spent two years teaching at a continuation school in Florida, as well as teaching four years at Johnny Cochran Middle School. I grew up in Colorado and attended Colorado State University. I graduated from CSU with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Biological Sciences; along with a minor in Anatomy and Neurobiology. I began teaching in 2001, and continued my education by completing the teacher credentialing program at National University. I currently hold credentials in Clear Single Subject Teaching Credentials for Biology, as well as a Psychology Credential, with a Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development Emphasis.
