Srta. Flores- Spanish Instructor/ Cross Country Coach

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Welcome to Spanish class! We hope that you enjoy learning about Latin American literature and culture. This year, our students learned about the history, literature and art of various countries in Latin America (such as Guatemala and El Salvador). We also explored our identities as Angelenos and discussed a wide variety of topics affecting our families today.

Our Spanish Speakers classes, for example, worked towards practicing more their verbal skills, not just reading and writing. They have begun to prepare for the advanced courses our World Languages department has to offer, such as AP Spanish Literature and AP Spanish Language.

Currently, our AP Spanish Literature students have taken already their AP Spanish exam. They have been studying a wide variety of Spanish texts that cover various centuries from Medieval times to our more modern era.

Please feel free to see our showcase of student work by clicking on the link to the right. If anyone is interested in joining Cross Country, you are more than welcome to view our photo album, showcasing our team from this past year.
