This is my first year at King Drew Magnet HS. I'm currently serving as the Instructional Coach. I began my career in 1985 as a high school science teacher at Washington Preparatory High School, served as an Assistant Principal at Santa Monica High School, and returned to LAUSD in 2000 to serve as the Math/Science Coordinator. I received my doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles and I'm also a part-time lecturer for the School of Education at California State University, Dominguez Hills. My doctoral dissertation focused on partnerships between K-12 schools and Universities.
