Work Permits

WORK PERMIT POLICIES/PROCEDURES



  • The Intent to Hire form should have the following:
  • Complete information  under the "Minor's Information" and "School Information" sections including Social Security number

        b .  Complete information under the  parent/guardian section. 

  1. Completed  information from the Employer  under the "Employer" section.
  2. Original/wet signatures. A WORK PERMIT REQUEST WILL BE DENIED IF ANY OF THE SIGNATURES ARE STAMPED AND/OR PHOTOCOPIED. 
  • In order for permits to be issued, students must have the following:
  • An attendance rate of  96% or better
  • No excessive tardies
  • A  minimum 2.0 GPA  (No D’s or F’s)
  • Excellent citizenship
  1. Carefully review your form to assure that everything is clear and legible.
  2. Take your completed form to Counseling Office (see below):

       Class of 2024    - Ms. Kao   

       Class of 2025    - Mr. Washington

       Class of 2026    - Ms. Gabriel     

       Class of 2027    - Ms. Valencia

  1. Allow up to  72 hours for processing.  
  2. Note: Work permits can not be emailed.
  3. Please note that Work Permits can be revoked at any time due to:
  • Excessive Absences and/or tardies
  • Unsatisfactory work habits and/or cooperation
  • Poor grades/academic performance
  • Behavioral referrals
