Here are some resources you can use to get your skills ready or catch up before the Fall Semester starts in August.
SAT Practice on Khan Academy Even if you aren't taking the SATs, these topics for the Math and Reading/Writing sections are very much the topics that you need to know before you graduate high school. Better yet, you connect your PSAT scores by creating or logging into your Collegeboard account and you will get personalized help in the areas that you are weak in.
King/Drew offers a variety of programs for students that need additional help. Specialized programs in the 9th grade target reading and math skills. Interested students should speak with their grade level counselor. Teachers offer extra tutoring help afterschool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:40 -4:40. Please speak with each individual teacher for their tutoring availability.
After School Tutoring for 9th & 10th Graders!
Free In-Person tutoring in ELA and Math is being offered after school Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm-5:15pm. This program will be available until the end of the school year. If interested, pick up an application from Mrs. Ferguson in the main office.
