As a history teacher, I aim to prepare students to be informed and responsible members of a diverse democratic society.  To understand and participate successfully in local, national, and international events. To provide students with opportunities to think critically, develop an informed opinion, research a topic effectively, express their ideas both orally and in writing, and listen to others who believe differently than themselves.
